YWCA Greater Pittsburgh Center for Race Relations
The Center for Race Relations and Anti-Racism Training supports executive management, educators, government officials, community activists, and students in their efforts to address racism. Programs and services include: consulting with organizations on systemic change initiatives, facilitating cross-cultural dialogues on race relations, providing anti-racism and cultural competency training, supporting advocacy and public policy initiatives, and collaborating with organizations to sponsor lectures and cultural events. During the last fiscal year, nearly 1,900 individuals participated in the Center’s cross-cultural dialogues, trainings, lectures, and cultural events. |

(http://www.ywcapgh.org/race-relations.htm) Pittsburgh Interfaith Impact Network PIIN is a faith-based organization that uses community organizing and issue advocacy to address the root causes of problems and bring about systemic change through changes in policies, legislation, etc. PIIN is interfaith, multi-racial, and economically diverse organization with member congregations from urban and suburban areas in Southwest Pennsylvania. (http://www.hccwpa.org/) Pittsburgh History and Landmarks Foundation Founded in 1964, the Pittsburgh History and Landmarks Foundation is a nonprofit membership organization that specializes in using historic preservation as a tool to renew the Pittsburgh region. Through architectural surveys, feasibility studies, preservation loan and grant funds, an easement program, and many other educational services. Landmarks works to save architectural landmarks, rebuild historic neighborhoods, instill community pride, and improve the quality of life in the Pittsburgh region. For more information, click here.
