Regional Equitable Development Summits
Social equity for an increasingly diverse citizenry is central to SP’s mission of broadening regional decision making for sustainable development. Learn from inspirational speakers and take action to close the racial disparities gap in SWPA. The annual Summit also serves to create coalitions working together on specific reform agendas linking diversity and inclusion to the region's equitable development

This conference provides high quality, professional development for community leaders, planners, developers, elected officials and other stakeholders. Conference attendees learn about new trends and pertinent tools related to building sustainable communities.
Past Conferences
Public Officials Design Charrette
Up to five municipalities are selected to benefit from the assistance of a team of pro bono experts. The municipality identifies a pressing sustainability challenge or opportunity and we assemble a team of experts to be on hand to work through the issue and generate practical solutions. Issues may relate to: main street revitalization, infill development, transportation access, energy efficiency or resource conservation, community development, a social or human service concern, community or green space, etc.
